SureGreen employs the latest green technology to enhance our operations. This includes utilising battery machinery which benefits us by:

Autonomous Mowing
SureGreen adapts to the site requirements and conditions that our clients are faced with. Where time and schedules become a hurdle to maintain a busy turf area, sometimes you have to think differently.
Our technicians are trained to assess the area, install and maintain autonomous robotic mowers to take the worry out of keeping your turf at the right height. Silent mowing at night can sometimes be the answer to busy schedules.
Installing a solar charging station for the sun to fuel the blades also adds to an efficient and sustainable practice to lower the carbon footprint.
Value Every Drop
Our SureGreen Irrigation Technicians are experienced in assessing turf and garden areas for where automation and innovation can be implemented to more accurately manage the water usage. Smart irrigation systems have a huge benefit to any site including:

- Manage programs and adjustments from anywhere via an online dashboard or easy to use phone app.

Closing the Loop
SureGreen produces large amounts of green waste through our maintenance operations. Our waste collection is carefully managed in a variety of sustainable ways to assist our goal of recycling and reusing 99% of the green waste we produce. These methods include:

Regulating Growth
Due to our fast growing plants and turf during the warmer seasons, our teams utilise the latest horticultural technologies in growth regulators.
These safe to use products are applied so our teams can focus their time on other tasks around site. This is a great time saver, waste minimiser and all-round garden saviour.
PreEmergent/ProActive
SureGreen prefer to be proactive in our approach. Sound preventative nutritional programs applied by our teams include:
- Pre-emergent herbicides for gardens and hard surfaces to minimise weed re-growth
- Coated turf fertilises that inhibit weed germination
- Unscheduled turf pest treatment before egg hatching occurs
Fuel-free Mowing
As technology improves, our fleet of mowers transition to reduce our reliance on diesel and petrol.
Zero turn ride-on mowers that are 100% electric are utilised by our teams where they can be most effective E.g educational campuses, retirement villages.
We also have remote control electric mowers making their way into our mobile teams which are smaller but are just as efficient.
These machines are seeing benefits with easy transportation, ability to mow harder access areas such as under park benches and on slopes. Outcome of these include the best results whilst no emissions in our public open spaces.
Fertilising Organically
SureGreen employs an organic fertiliser called Biochar, which is a type of charcoal produced at high temperatures through a process called pyrolysis. This process captures a significant amount of carbon. Biochar remains in the soil for thousands of years, as it is highly stable. Its porous nature allows it to retain water and nutrients, and it becomes a habitat for beneficial microbes. This makes it an effective way to enhance sandy soils, offering long-term benefits such as reducing the need for fertilisers and minimising nutrient leaching.

Planet Ark Environmental Foundation National Tree Day is an annual event and the largest nature cafe event in the country. The initiative aims to encourage communities to come together and engage in the vital act of planting trees.
